ProSolve Aluminium Foil Tape 100mm x 45m

ProSolve 100mm Aluminium Foil Tape is a strong, flexible sealing tape designed for joining foil-faced insulation, sealing joints and creating a reliable vapour barrier. The tape consists of a high-strength aluminium foil backing coated with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive and protected by an easy-to-remove release paper.

The powerful adhesive provides excellent initial grab and bonds particularly well to aluminium, other metals, foil insulation products and to the tape itself. This makes it ideal for sealing overlaps, joints and seams in insulation systems, helping to maintain the continuity of the foil surface and reduce the passage of moisture, vapour and air.

Its aluminium surface reflects heat and light, making the tape suitable for use with foil-faced insulation, heating and ventilation systems, refrigeration equipment, double-glazing applications and general construction or maintenance work. It can also be used for heat reflection, electrical screening and shielding against electromagnetic interference in suitable applications.

The tape offers excellent resistance to heat, water, ultraviolet light and many chemicals, helping it provide a durable seal in demanding environments. Its flexible construction allows it to follow contours and irregular surfaces, while the strong adhesive helps produce a secure, long-lasting bond when applied to clean, dry and grease-free materials.

ProSolve Aluminium Foil Tape has been classified A2-s1,d0 for reaction to fire in accordance with BS EN 13501-1. In practical terms, A2 means the tape makes no significant contribution to fire; s1 indicates the lowest level of smoke production within the classification system, and d0 indicates the best performance classification for flaming droplets and particles.
