The best products usually start with a simple question: what does the trade actually need?
At ProSolve, we listen to the people using our products every day. Contractors, tradespeople, merchants and customers tell us about the jobs they're doing, the problems they're facing and the small changes that could make their working day easier.
Sometimes that leads to a new product. Sometimes it's a different size, thickness, pack format or application method. And sometimes it's simply about taking something that already works and making it more practical for the job.
That's what we mean by Trade Inspired.
Products shaped by the job
Our Site Marker is a good example. Contractors didn't need a complicated marking system. They needed a can they could pick up, spray and leave a clear, highly visible mark.
Our Acrylic Line Marker solves a different problem. It's supplied with an adaptor so it can be used with line marking machines, giving contractors a straightforward product that's ready for the way they work.
The same thinking runs through the rest of our range.
We've introduced larger 5 litre formats in response to contractors looking for practical bulk cleaning solutions. They can reduce packaging, simplify storage and provide better value where products are being used regularly and in volume.
We're also changing the way products are packaged. As sustainability becomes increasingly important across construction, particularly for major contractors and managed service providers, we're looking for practical ways to reduce unnecessary plastic. Cardboard packaging can help, while also making products easier to store, handle and dispose of on site.
And when customers need something different, we listen. Different widths. Different lengths. Different thicknesses. Different pack sizes. Where there's a genuine requirement and we can make it work, we'll look at adapting the product rather than simply saying, "That's what we sell."
Listen. Develop. Improve.
Trade Inspired isn't about putting a tradesperson in an advert.
It's about keeping the people who actually use our products involved in how the range develops.
We want feedback. We want to know what works, what doesn't and what would make a product better. That might come from a contractor on site, somebody behind a merchant counter, one of our customers or a tradesperson testing a product for the first time.
Because a site essential should earn its place on site.
Used by the trade. Shaped by the trade. Trade Inspired.
Tell us what you need
Got a product problem? Think something could work better? Tell us.
Whether it's a different size, format, feature or simply an idea that would make the job easier, we'd like to hear it. Your feedback could help shape an existing ProSolve product or even inspire the next one.
